Guest guest
Hello, I went to my oncologist/hematologist a couple of weeks ago and she referred to my condition as follicular lymphoma and I corrected her and that it is sll and she said oh yea I knew that. I was a little concerned but figured it was just a slip. Yesterday I needed a form filled out that asked for my diagnosis and she filled it out as follicular lymphoma. I just opened the copy of it tonight (that was mailed to me) and am concerned that she doesn't really know what I have. Is it a similiar disease (or the same) or should I be concerned. I have been on w & w and haven't had treatment yet. Are these two diseases interchangeable? My husband thought this was enough of a concern to do something such as question her or better yet get a second opinion. Any thoughts?
