One reason I see for people leaving the group is the number of

referenced previous messages attached to most postings. Even if you

get the digest rather than individual messages, it takes a long time

to scroll past all the duplicate messages.

I just signed up to view messages on the website. There you

can read all messages without the trailing baggage that comes with

the list digest. This way I'll be able to sign in once a day and

read posts quickly. Others may want to try this.
