This is interesting information Nina that I wasn't aware of. Good information for all of us. When I was in 2nd grade I had a rapid eye blinking problem for a short time that was treated with a seizure med. Our 20 year old son recently came to me saying he thought he may have ADD as he's been to college for 2 years at WPI for an Engineering degree and has a very hard time staying focused when it comes to studying and taking tests. He has made an appointment with a specialist to find out if he has ADD. RhodaFrom: Nina Forest <autismlearning@...>Autism and Aspergers Treatment Sent: Sat, May 29, 2010 8:29:31 AMSubject: genetics

Since autism is a spectrum, a family with genetic predisposition can have asperger's, autism, ADHD, bipolar, and seizures all in the same family.

,

Thanks for your explanation. It was easy to understand and explains genetic changes perfectly. I hope you and your Dr. find a new effective tx to start so you start to feel better. I cannot fathom the feeling of no energy you describe. Even with your not feeling well, you cont. to do so much for us thru this list.

Many Thanks,

Chris
