Hi Karl.

I know that you are aware of the 2 trials that I will mention; but other people may not be.

Genitope offered a vaccine trial for untreated CLLers, which it aborted after a year or so. The last I heard, the company had reduced to a 'skeleton crew,' perhaps in a couple of senses. Several participants in that trial joined a Group for vaccines and shared their results. It might still be hoped that their vaccines have slowed the progression of their CLL; but no remissions have been reported.

In less than 3 weeks I will be beginning my trial of "revlimid first line." A description of that trial is here:

wayne (trying again....what happened to what I typed before?)

Such as immunotherapy on the previously untreated, who may have better immune competence and ability to benefit ... such as revlimid first line? Perhaps the NCI and cooperative groups will sponsor such trials. Query of clinicaltrils. gov (in untreated CLL):http://tinyurl. com/3otp8gAll the best,Karl
