You could get a few of those power bars. I'm thinking of Slim Fast, but

there are other kinds. It fits in a pocket, so you could take one with you.

I sometimes have one for breakfast, and I'm not hungry until lunch. I can

understand not wanting to buy food at Six Flags....it's expensive enough to

get in the door.

Thanks for the power bars. I think I'll get one or

two. Well I just have to pay 10 dollars for the

ticket- think the church got it from a fundraiser or

something that's why I gotto pay real cheap.

In our case, 's IgG was in the 200s but finally came up to the low 500s

after age two or three (funny how I can't even remember now!), so they don't

consider her IgG def anymore. And with extra doses of vaccine we were able to

" make " her system develop the right level of antibodies to polio and HiB, two

she had trouble with.

But endless extra Prevnar vaccines have not helped her develop pneumococcal

antibodies, they are lower than ever. So she's considered to have a selective

antibody deficiency. That is, she has trouble making antibodies to

polysaccharide encapsulated bacteria (such as pneumococcus). I assume that

means she supposedly has trouble fighting those bacteria as well, based on

the fact that we have to treat most fevers over 102 rectal like they could

possibly be an invasive pneumococcal infection.

Just our experience --

(mom to , age 3-1/2. Currently has polysaccharide antibody def,

previously had transient IgG, IgA, t-cell & other defs)

Hi ,

I know how the dead man walking thing feels..ok,ok,dead woman walking. My lifesaver has been Provigil.I only take it on days I know I have to go somewhere or on days I keep our grands. It perks me up,gives me more mental clarity.I know several on our board at CLLCfriends are taking it.Ask Dr. Furman what he thinks about you taking it.Before I started taking it I was drained and taking three naps a day.I would get up,take my meds and go to the couch and sleep another three hours and then more naps during the day.I still do this on days I don't take the Provigil.

Randy and a few others on our board are having great success with the Cal-101.

I hope the two good Drs. can put their heads together and come up with something that will help you.You do so much for others and it doesn't go unnoticed.Hang in there.Praying for you!

God Bless,

Deb Light
