Just ask your doc/onc to check your Vitamin D levels the next time you have blood drawn -- my husband was taking 2000 IU's a day (recommended dosage is 400) and his blood level was still low. It was recommended he up it to 3000 IUs a day, which he did. It may have helped during FCR, which he completed a little over a year ago with with good results, and no infections.AliceOn Jul 17, 2010, at 3:44 PM, rrfman wrote:This is very important.
