Guest guest
I just returned from the doctor very confused. It turns out he ran a FISH on my husband two years ago, and though I have asked for it every three months, and at every visit he never mentioned it. Today, in passing, he said your husband will need stronger treatment because of this 11q deletion!!! Then, I read the report. He has 11q at 69%. Does this high percent make it worse? He also has 13q at 45%. No others. His WBC at 25, has been stable for two years, he is Stage 0. I thought 11q tended toward lymphadenopathy. He has none. He was diagnosed 30 months ago at WBC around 23. I have been looking at mediam TFT and survival charts and 11q, as we all know, doesn't look as good as without it. Does the 13q combo make any difference? Is he liking to progress faster? I hope perhaps in addition to anyh 11qers out there, that Dr. Furman might answer this somewhat complicated question. Thanks, Helene
