Guest guest
I wanted to share my good news with everyone. You may remember that I have some large and fast growing nodes in my abdomen. Last July they were several which were 4 centimeters so I went on my nasty diet eliminating wine (sigh) sugar, raw foods, flour, and soaking brown rice, beans, nuts and seeds for 7-36 hours depending on what they were. My most recent round of CT scans showed that my blood tests were all normal and that the large nodes grew only 2 millimeters this time so my onc was happy. The only unfortunate part is that it appears that the diet is working and that I'll have to stay on it(smile). At the conference in Atlanta this fall the presenter showed two slides one of a model B cell of aggressive Cll and one of nonaggressive Cll. the nonaggressive had many more healthy T cells supporting the B cells. Has anyonetried taking N-acetyl-L cysteins or NAC which evidentially is given to people with AIDS to build healthy T cells? I just bought some at my local AIDS clinic and have added it to my suppliments. Carole from Vermont
