Guest guest Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 I too was on 800mg of Gleevec for 18mths and the hole time I took it Tim wouldnt let me break down the dose..he said it would be defeating the purpose of taking 800mg. When I did go against his will and split the dose I too felt like crap all day..vomiting, diareah and severe joint ache...I think personally that 800mg is such a high dose and the toxicity will get you either way...its only now im toxic free..and thats cause I am off Gleevec and have been for two months.
