There isn't a person on this list that isn't under an tremendous

burden carrying the weight of their illness, or their loved one's.

As such, I think it's important to realize that the two most

important functions of this list are; the support we receive from

each other; and the knowledge to fight this terrible disease.

We come from many races, all walks of life, different countries and

cultures. CLL-SLL has brought us together in a most profound way.

I am glad we have not lost sight of what's really important in our

shared communion, which is fighting this horrible disease both as

individuals and/or as a family, and as a collective effort.
