Guest guest
If you have gone the route of getting a second opinion. how did you choose your second doctor? Is it better to go to a large, well-known cancer center like MD or is it just as good to go a NCI Designated Cancer Center for this purpose? I am considering going to the University of Virginia Cancer Center since it is the NCI center in my state but I am not familiar with the doctors or its reputation in regard to SLL/CLL. My family wants me to go to but I hesitate because of the distance. (I live in the western edge of Virginia near the borders of Tennessee and Kentucky.) I could also easily go to Duke (North Carolina), Vanderbilt (Tennessee) or Ohio from my location. Opinions? Recommendations?
