Guest guest
My name is , My mom has CLL, she will be 84 Jan 2nd. She has done the Rituxan (sp) off and on for a few years. She no longer wishes to do any more treatments. My dad passed in March, and mom did really good considering they were married 62 1/2 yrs. She was 87 pounds when he passed, and has gained some weight, she is at 105lbs. She has given up driving on her own, and has moved in with my sister. There are days she can barly get out of bed, and other days she has energy. I am wondering what to expect, if anyone has any input. Her White cell count is at 235,000. What happens now, she is going downhill. Thanks!
Guest guest
, Yes, your mother if she really wants no treatment, that is her choice. Since she just lost her husband maybe she is suffering from depression. Maybe she needs treatment for that there are doctors trained in depression for the elderly. Then you can work on the CLL.
