Guest guest
Hi Mandy, I live in the Adks. of No. Ny. My local Onc is at Fletcher in Burlington and I am very pleased with her. She is Dr. Barbara Grant and specilizes in CLL and Lymphoma. I find her to be very on top of everything and all the research etc. She goes to the ASH conference every yr. She is wonderful to deal with and talk to and so is her RN. I started off with a CLL specialist in NYC at Sloan Kettering and was him every 3-4 mos for the lst 18 mos and now see him yearly. I could recommend Dr. Grant, and she was recommended to me by another person with CLL. I still think it is a great idea to see a specialist and going to Boston or NY is worth doing if you can swing it. Happy New Yr and best of health in 2008, Randolph -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of mandyfortunaSent: Monday, December 31, 2007 10:01 PM Subject: cll/sll expert in Vermont Hi I live in Vermont. At one point on this board I noticed there was a list off cll/sll specialists. I live in Vermont and was wondering if there is one around here or if the closest would be the ones that were listed in Dartmouth, Albany and Boston. Does anyone have this info? I go to a local oncologist at the local hospital in Burlington, VT. I was reading through info on the internet and Dr. O'Brien recommended that going to a specialist for this kind of cancer is probably a good idea vs going to an oncolgist who deals with all kinds. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!!!
