Guest guest
was the doctor Dennis Gersten? Sounds like what I went through. C.
Guest guest
I was sucked into the deal for five months. $3,500+ later I noted no improvement other than a loss or weight in my right buttocks where my wallet goes in my pants. I guess that makes me the eskimo wou'd buy ice from a water salesman. Live and.........hopefully learn. Tim > Dear , > > You wrote, " There is a doctor treating CFS with Aminos. Guest guest
Bob, Thanks for posting about this. Keep us posted on your progress. Group, My chiropractor's wife went to a Mexico clinic run by Hitt(an american doctor) to do IV amino acid treatment. She was on a lot of antidepressants and could not get off of it. He uses amino acids IV for a lot of patients with drug addictions. This lady was able to get off of her antidepressants after 10 days of this IV. Each IV was for 10 hrs per day. He mentions that amino acid IV helps to balance the neurotransmitters. This doctor also does ozone treatment. She mentioned taht he went there because he could not do ozone treatment in US (It is illegal). But I know some docs who do it in USA. SO I am not sure baout the details. One other treatment that he does is Urine shots. This lady and her friend had lots of alergies, MCS. Dr.Hitt recommends urine shots to a lot of his patients. It has definitely helped my chiropractor's wife and her friend. It seems like one's urine is like one's own vaccine. But one should be careful if one is taking any medications. These 2 ladies were not on any medications when they do those shots. Thanks Gayathri. > I started an amino acid protocol this week. Maybe some of you have > read about it. Guest guest
This is one of my favorite AA studies. Notice that the sulfur AAs are almost ignored. http://www.geocities.com/GuaiWhey/metametr.htm
Guest guest
Thanks for that most interesting study. I interrupted my reading when I came to the following snip: The two most commonly deficient amino acids seen in CFS subjects are phenylalanine and tryptophan. These serve as precursors to catecholamines and serotonin, neurotransmitters that are intimately involved in depressive disorders. Depression is a common symptom in CFS patients. Significant improvement was seen in fibromyalgia patients (a disease similar to CFS) with administration of 5-hydroxytryptophan [11]. Those are precisely the two AA'S that are the foundation of my staying alive meaningfully! Especially the phenylalanine. I take it a couple of times a day, starting first thing in the morning and the trypto at bedtime. I use real trypto, not the hydroxy.. Too much phenylalanine has wicked side effects,(on the other hand it also made me a little smarter; faster processing speeds, I think), but the trypto is 100% benign. Would not really want to live without them. Adrienne Re: Amino Acid Therapy This is one of my favorite AA studies.
