He had a brown spot on one of his molars about 5 months ago that just dissapeared. I wanted to mention, on another list some mothers report success using powdered White Oak. It is supposed to help remineralize the tooth so that it gets restored without any other intervention. You just rub a small amount on the cavity everyday but I don't remember for how many days. It looks and tastes like fine dirt, I have used it for my gums. I have never used it to treat a cavity, so I am just passing on others' experiences with it.
