Guest guest
Interesting story : SOUTHERN Cross University has shut down a study into Down’s syndrome because a child had been traumatised after suffering an ‘adverse reaction’ during the research. The study, by PhD student and Sydney-based scientist Harvey, was designed to examine the impact of folate supplements on the DNA of children with Down’s syndrome. It follows US research suggesting the substance could rebuild some of the damaged chromosomes behind the syndrome. http://www.northernstar.com.au/localnews/storydisplay.cfm?storyID=3682862
