Hi Kathy, On Gleevec (I am now on BMS x 7 weeks), I did have an occasional episode of dizziness and know others who have as well. I attributed it to some edema....I know I had some edema in the 'head' as I had some R ear congestion and when bothersome I would take a day or two of diazide (diuretic) and it helped. Of course it could also be related to low blood pressure and lack of fluid?? Also at the same time I would sometimes have those funny eye symptoms.....like vague little rainbows or something. I found that if I rested for 10-15 minutes usually the symptoms would go away. I think this goes into the basket of the many little not well understood stuff that can go along with taking Gleevec?? Next week I return to OHSU for my 2 month BMS check-up.....and maybe I will post about my experience then. I have posted some on Jerry's BMS Discussion list. Take care, C.
