Guest guest
Greetings, I do indeed have fluid in my ear canals. And I have 'tiny' ear canals which can aggravate the situation -- and which amuses me as 'tiny' has never been used to describe any part of me! As I always try to avoid additional medications, I am pursuing alternative treatments. First up a visit with my chiropractor who is working on my neck -- this should help the flow of fluids -- second up is cranio sacral work that many with vertigo swear by. For those unfamiliar with cranio sacral work (which I was), this involves deep massaging of your head to help realign the skull. At least I think I have that right. If nothing else, it sounds relaxing. I'm also looking into diet suggestions -- i.e., no dairy -- to help with fluid/mucus buildup. C -- I suspect you are familiar with all of this, eh? Another potential issue has cropped up -- my thyroid levels are slightly off & I'm following up on this with my doc next Tuesday. Will keep you posted. best wishes to all, Kathy dx 5/

Yes, your skull is actually made up of several bones that move! Cranio sacral work does influence the cerebrospinal fluid. Don't know if you are already using the supplement MSM, that would be one to consider. It is a natural anti-inflammatory and many body conditions actually have to do with inflammation. OHSU has no problem with using this one....I take 5,000mg daily in a powder that I add to my nutritional drink. Glad you have a plan.....let us know how it goes for you. C.
