60 Seconds on IEPs

Hi, , Kathy

I sure hope everything is going great for you today!

Here's some food for thought:

" Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall

find the way. "

-Abraham Lincoln

" Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. "

- Philo

All right. Now it's time to be serious.

Communication is the key to working successfully with your child's

IEP team.

The majority of parents and teachers that you encounter are

genuinely concerned about children. They are interested in helping

your child be successful and obtain academic goals.

Today's article talks about dealing with the remaining small

percentage of challenging people.

It was written for teachers (hopefully if you are a parent you

won't recognize yourself), but offers excellent ideas that can be

used by both parents and teachers.
