Guest guest
Hello, My Dad has had cll/sll for 8 years . During a recent visit he was told that it is possible his disease has transformed to large cell lymphoma(according to a lab test, cbc I guess). A flow cytometry test is being done to confirm diagnoses. Results on Tuesday. There is very little information on the web about this kind of thing. Can anyone direct me to more information? Much thanks. Jill
Guest guest
Hello Carol, We do have something in common. I have tried to e mail you offsite , but I don’t think it is going thru for some reason. I was DX’d with Richters in September of 2007. I finished treatment in March of this year, and I am currently in remission, and feeling well. I’m 68. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have. My doctors were surprised when my biopsy came back for I had indolent CLL for 7 years. There are only a very small percentage of CLL folks who get Richters, and no one really knows why. The OFAR treatment (trial) has been promising at M D. I know, for I discussed it with my doctor in June. I try to just get up every day with thoughts of doing something, or for someone, to make for a better day. I have gained much knowledge from this website. You will too. It helps with discussions with your doctor. I am interested in how they arrived at your Richter’s diagnosis?
