Sometimes they put it by the pledge, sometimes by the other all purpose type cleaners. I love this stuff for washing sticky hand prints off wood furniture and banisters. :-) You have to dry the wood and of course don't soak it! But it leaves a nice shine. It's also great for washing the plastic in cars, such as the dash board. Protects it from sun damage... not that I wash my car all that much!!! LOL DON'T use it on your steering wheel though!!!! Mix it with Joy Lemon dishwashing soap and water in spray bottle and it will kill insects on contact and keep them coated with yucky tasting soap. . :-) If you must use an insecticide, mixing some 's with it will make it stick to your flowers longer too. Guest guest Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 Just to add to this... I recently spilled Lugols on an item of clothing and I googled how to get it out. One thing that I would have done that was definitely stated NOT to do was to put anything like an oxygenated stain remover on it. I usually use oxyclean spray on stains, so I would have tried that if I hadn't looked it up. Anyway, I believe it said something to the effect to put laundry soap directly on the stain and let it soak into the fibers(rub in a little bit) and then wash.
