Guest guest
Oh Sherry, that must have been a grueling day for all of you. :-( I do remember them wanting her to drink lying down now that you mention it, that was another reason I think we used the tube. I was afraid she was going to aspirate. I can't imagine spending that much time in the x-ray 'suites'.... yikes. Hopefully you slept well anyway????? Had some energy for today. geesh.... How did take all the attention? Carol in IL Mom to seven including , 6 with TOF, AVcanal, GERD, LS, Asthma, subglottal stenosis, chronic constipation ( cured now ) and DS. My problem is not how I look. It's how you see me. Re: OT: urgent info about UGI?? Just an FYI about this test. Althought I felt alot better about the responses I received last night it did indeed turn out to be an all day event. About 5.5 hours of x-rays and a full 2 cups of barium. They wanted her to drink it lying down and dh said "no way". In any case it's over and hopefully we'll get some results soon. Sherry

In between xrays, she had to go get bloodwork done (iron is back up) then back for the final bowel xray just before closing then down to outpatient again for the special blood test for inflammation that goes out to calif. dh was snoring so loudly on the couch I sent him off to bed a couple of hours ago and now I'm gonna get the munchkin ready to go. She's got quite a bellyache and hopefully she won't have too bad a reaction tomorrow. I can't even imagine drinking 1 cup of that doodoo let alone 2. She and dad were covered with white polka dots LOL. I cancelled her therapies for tomorrow so she can chill. I'll let you know when we get results.
