Passing this on from another listserv.. approached NASCAR a

few months ago about doing something for Ds awareness in October….go, !!;-)

RCR has

contacted me and the Down Syndrome

Awareness decals will be run at the Charlotte

night race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway

next Saturday Oct 14th at 7pm on NBC. In case you are not a

Nascar fan the following Nascar cup series cars that will run the decals are:

#29 Reese’s/Goodwrench driver Harvick (GO KEVIN), #31 Cingular

driver Ward Burton and #07 Jack ’s driver Clint Bowyer. RCR

is pitching the DS Awareness to the Nascar sports media, so Im hoping they will

give us a blurb, I haven’t heard where the ribbon will be placed on the

car….if I find out I will let you know.
