Guest guest
I do understand how important extra zinc is for our kids . For a whole host of reasons . ( well I think I understand;-) ) I am concerned though about all this extra zinc when our children start to get older. When reseraching for my mum's Alzheimers disease I found out a few things . One was that zinc was a HUGE no no . Zinc apparently speeds up cognitive decline. I found evidence that zinc is present in the amyloid plagues.I do remember getting some information a while back that the zinc in the plauges was a good thing but have to say I can't really remember why that was.Does anyone have this specific info?? If zinc really is a problem is alzheimers then is there a point when we should stop suplementing ?? Just in case ?? Having seen how much my mum disintegrated with Alzheimers , I am just anxious I don't make any mistakes with . I know some of you will have all of this info already so as I say probably stupid question ;-) but I still would appreciate some answers . This does worry me .
