Guest guest
Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has any info on Glyconutrients (Mannatech/Ambrotose) & it's benefit (or no benefit) to Luekemia? Our friend who's little girl is going through chemotherapy for Leukemia got some info on Mannatech & I'm going to look through it for them. Other kids who are going to the same hospital as our friend's little girl, have had success with giving Ambrotose to their kids while they are going through chemotherapy - what I've heard from them so far, sounds good, but I am leary about them, so I'm looking for some info! Thanks, Qadoshyah
Guest guest
Hi Kokie, Wakame, aloe vera and spirulena types of supplements (any of those greens formulas) have been recommended by alternative medicine types for years for people during chemo. My dad was recommended them 20 years ago while on chemo by an alternative nutritionist. What i have not figured out about Ambrotose yet is what makes there formula so much more expensive and different than all the various greens formulas out there. I personally started taking Green Vibrance http://www.vibranthealth.org/gv.html several months ago after a long bout of gasterointestinal problems and I have never felt better. I will probably start giving to my daughter with Ds as it may help her constipation. Progreens and Nanogreens are two others i have heard are good. If you do find anything about what makes Ambrotose better please share! And prayers for your friends daughter for getting through chemo and remission!!!Qadoshyah <feargod@...> wrote: Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has any info on Glyconutrients (Mannatech/Ambrotose) & it's benefit (or no benefit) to Luekemia? Guest guest
I use green tea everyday! It is supposed to be very good to keep leucemia and many forms of cancer away. We have used it for about 2 years now. Kids are doing very well with it! We keep several bottles in the fridge. They drink it like water now. They drink it quite weak and I add a dash of organic juices. Cheers! Guest guest
I'm certainly not for Glyconutrients at all - I agree with Dr. L - it could cause damage in DS [i totally understand why]. But, our friend who's little girl has leukemia does not have DS. I told them that I was skeptical of it & that it ain't good for DS. But, I'll still look it up for them. Thanks for the info! He says it is useless and expensive andthe ingredients in it should cost next to nothing instead of beingabout $28 an ounce according to one site. Here's an excerpt from http://chetday.com/glyconutrients.htmA Friendly Skeptic Looks at Glyconutrients and Ambrotose®By Dr. Ralph Mossfrom CancerDecisions.com Newsletter:"For Ambrotose in particular, we see an enormous popularity inpublications by and for lay people but nothing listed in the standardmedical literature to substantiate claims of health benefits, atleast not under this particular brand name. To put it mildly, thisisn't very reassuring.. . .The main danger I believe is that patients will not only losemoney but will also lose precious time. Cancer is a complex disease. It requires professional help. Regardless of the sometimes uncaringattitude of certain errant members of the medical profession, oneshould not reject everything that conventional medicine has to offerin favor of a regimen discovered on the Internet." Read the whole article for more that answers your question below. There's much more on the internet and in the archives about thismulti level company and its large claims to cure about anything. Ijust hate to see folks spend money on something that's probably a lotof hype (in my mind anyway) and not much good.Priscilla K>>>>>>>>> Have a question on Glyconutrients & Leukemia Posted by: "Qadoshyah" feargodatruechurch (DOT) info hoppinherdofhares2003 Mon Aug 28, 20062:42 pm (PST) Hi All,I was wondering if anyone has any info on Glyconutrients(Mannatech/Ambrotose) & it's benefit (or no benefit) to Luekemia?
