Guest guest
This is from a once a week newsletter from Ideal Lives: KathyR 60 Seconds on SPD Well, hello there Kathy I sure hope everything is going great for you today! I've been quite busy this week with doing online research! I'm always on the internet, Kathy -looking for informative SPD articles and I found some that I think you'll really like. If your child has a sensory processing disorder, then chances are good that you have spent some time talking with an OT about his/her sensory diet. In other words -- the activities your child needs to do each day to meet his/her sensory needs. It can be a challenge to come up with just the right " menu " for your child and it's definitely something you should do in partnership with your child's OT, but here are some samples other parents and professionals have shared to help get you started: Sample 1: http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?rWn9Au7Hdee5zN2lQG_jHw Sample 2: http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?03bWWS1lFdRkDg83fa7r8Q Sample 3: http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?qNYbDJ0ukSmY2hYWGO0lrw Sample 4: http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?ciguggq4Iczu6MzFJtMO8A Sample 5: http://clicks.aweber.com/z/ct/?D0iONPa0uUQp7kirNLCLmw IMPORTANT NOTE: Keep in mind that every child has a different sensory profile, and that not all activities on another child's sensory diet will be appropriate or useful for your child.
