When best time to connect families w/support group?

Hi-

I am doing an informal survey here to find out when parents believe is the

best time for referral to a local support group

1. While the newborn w/Down syndrome is in the hospital

2 by Early Intervention staff, after they evaluate the baby (the

diagnosis has already been established by that point.)

3. by the child’s doctor at the first check up.
