Guest guest
NAA ACTION ALERT: THE FDA IS TRYING TO PREEMPT STATES’ RIGHTS. Dear Parents and Friends: In recent weeks, two federal judges have ruled in favor of the FDA's " Preemption Preamble, " a preamble that protects makers of FDA-approved products against liability. To view the preamble, see pages 13 and 14 of this document: http://www.fda.gov/OHRMS/DOCKETS/98fr/06-545.pdf. Although this is not a set law, judges are being swayed by the language and offering deference to the FDA. What this means is that manufacturers of FDA-approved products, including vaccines, will not be held accountable for any negligence or wrongdoing. WHAT YOU CAN DO: Write your state and federal representatives immediately (see link below) to alert them of these rulings. Tell them that the FDA's Preemption Preamble violates civil rights and is NOT a passed law. http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/ Here's a sample letter: Dear Representative; In recent weeks, two federal judges have offered deference to the FDA's Preemption Preamble, which awards liability protection on any FDA-approved product. As a parent and constituent, I ask you to help put an end to these rulings in favor of this preamble as it is not a passed law, and violates civil rights. FDA-approved products in no way should be given a free pass from liability since many of these products' long-term effects are unknown. In the past, the FDA has approved vaccines such as the Rotavirus vaccine, which had devastating consequences. The FDA also approved a mercury preservative for vaccines, but even by their own admission, failed to calculate the total exposure of mercury continually added to the mandated schedule. Any maker of any product, especially health products, needs to be held accountable for any negligence or wrongdoing. This standard only ensures the safest products for the American people. Please be aware that this Preemption Preamble is being exploited without governmental oversight. I ask you to please investigate this matter and end special interest favors on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. Sincerely, Your name Think Autism. Think Cure.
