It would probably be of interest to more parents then just you. :-) Also do your libraries have a cooperative? Here (in SE MN) all libraries are run by the city which they are in, but also part of a cooperative and if the book was available in one of the other libraries, mine could ask for it to be sent to them so I could borrow it. (this gives me access to the Roch. public Library without having to pay a non resident fee to, thus access to alot more books then in my small town library or the bookmobile) Ive never used the service tho so dont' know how long the waits are. (Rochester isn't much farther then Plainview for me) But the theory sounds good, especially for those unable to get to the library that may have a book they'd really like to borrow.
