Guest guest
The chicken was a big hit last year. I think I brought 200 pieces and there was not one piece left!! s does make the best......I thought we had way too many hamburgers left over. I can't remember how many I bought, but I thought I saw two cases left over?!?!?! As far as desserts, I'd like those of us who still want to bring something bring a dessert. The fruitbowl Arlene and Pete always brings is a hit as well. Also, I believe the macaroni and cheese quickly disappeared. Folks also like their chips..they can snack on those all day I think. Maybe it is the kids who like them, but we always seem to have way too many bags left over. I'll go with whatever, but I do encourage the ruritans to order chicken from s. They cook 50 pieces at a time and will have it hot and ready to go for when we want it.

Guest guest
Hi! I've been talking with the folks from the Ruritan and I wanted to give them an idea for a menu. Here's what I was thinking of: hot dogs Hamburgers veggie burgers potato salad macaroni salad devilled eggs green beans & potatos tossed salad I think what I have listed above is a good start but, I'd like to see some additional items. Any other suggestons? Other salads? Sushi? Feel free to make suggestions whether you think you might come or not. We will of course have the Suaree' cake (and stuff for smores...). I think last year, we had too many desserts (if that's possible) and so most people were too full to eat a piece of the Suaree' cake (we were still eating cake for almost a week after the Suaree'). I thought I'd see if local coke or pepsi distributor would donate drinks. And of course we get the Orange drink from Mcs Take Care, Kent
Guest guest
We aren't sure that our schedule will let us come, but nice cool salads--fruit and veggie--are always something our kids will eat after they drop their hot dogs and sushi on the ground. Guest guest
Hi Kent: Uncle Dave just read your proposed Suaree menu, and wants to know which food line to get into for the T-bone steaks! Can't wait to see everyone and to meet new families. Auntie Jan
