A bit angry and a plea

I am a bit irritated right now at our City.

Last night I was on the phone with a friend, Heehee she's on our list too

well a news story came on about a walk out at one of our HS. The walkout was

2 parents pulling their kids out because of the lack of air conditioning. The

students were kids in a Sped class. Now what really got to me was this class

is in a separate building, away from the typical population, this building

has no air conditioning since a week ago, this building segregates students

and to top it off the main building is cool as a cucumber (for the typical

kids) ugggggg our administrators have taken NO action to move these students

to the air condition buildings. They have not answered any of the news

reporters requests for interviews, they are sweeping all of this under a rug

WHY????? one parents said they think her child is not important One child

had 9 seizures on Tuesday.....suspected heat related. Did I mention yesterday

it was 107, heat index much higher.

When Ona and I can find out who we need to respond to, I'm begging you all to

please flood them with emails. I was irked a few months ago when Gore came to

visit his home state and visited one of our best, newest elementary school's.

Did he visit the inner city schools that are still running without air

conditioning? NO did the city spend a small fortune decorating this new

school for his visit? YES, 11 school trucks were seen at this school. Now do

we have money for this? but no money to air condition all of our schools? OK

I'm not an accounting major but I see something wrong with this uggggg
