Dear Jim,

Yes she is our first child. She is so gorgeous, and she smiles all the time.

Her eyes are bright blue, like my wife's father. Her hair is light brown and

she has

blond eyebrows.

Her head is pointed southwest when she sleeps. From the first day, she has

slept through the night with only one waking at 4:00 am for nursing and

diaper change.

She had a lot of gas the first week, so we gave her baby acidophilus, and

she has been

fine since then. She rarely cries, and hasn't needed gripe water.

Best of Health!

daughter's element is metal, her color is white and she will sleep most

soundly with her head pointed toward the west, northeast or southwest, in

that order of preference. Her head must not be pointed toward north,

southeast, south or east when she is asleep. While new to our understanding,

Dear Saul,

I was reading your post about your baby girl and decided you have a real

beauty. When you said she sleeps; facing Southwest I pictured how her

bedroom must face south, but my question this: Is there any significance to

the direction we sleep?

Yes.... Sleep with your head to the north.

(The emperor rules facing to the south.)

I think it's okay to feed an infant during the night if they need or

want it. Maybe it is good to give them some nourishment during the long

stretch. I guess you have to balance this with mom and dad needing

rest. I miss those days when my children were growing up. My youngest

is 10 going on 15. J.

Thank you, Regan. It just goes to show that if you keep pushing yourself

with your workouts, when you go to try something you never thought was

attainable you may just surprise yourself...

Congratulations!

Congrats awsome job!!!!!!!!

I will be finishing my first week on monday. Have you noticed that

you may be tired but after your workouts you seem to have more than

enough enery to finish the day! Unfortunatly because of my schedule

I am getting less sleep but sleeping better and still making it

through the long days.

I'm definitely sleeping better, too, and I feel more awake and alert

during the day. But I've been pretty wiped out all weekend. I'm off

to take *another* nap, and hopefully I'll have a bit more spring in me

tomorrow. But apparently this happens to lots of people starting BFL,

so I'm just going to go with it.

Regan - I was VERY tired and cranky my first 7 - 10 days of BFL.

That is one of my main reasons to go right into my 2nd challenge,

because my first week or so was CRAPPY! It gets much better!!!! :)
