First post-op post

Hi All,

Just a brief note to let you know I'm home and a little bit about

how I'm doing. But first, thank you all so much for your prayers and

well wishes.

I've been home since Monday evening after a five day hospital stay

and feel so much better being here. Post-op pain is getting easier

and easier to handle, not been nearly as bad as I thought it would

be at this early date. I felt terrible the first few days, and

couldn't believe I'd actually agreed to the whole surgery, that's

how similar it seemed to my first surgery. But it hasn't been, not

nearly, and today I woke up feeling very light and the swellings

gone down enough for me to actually see some differences in my body

for the first time. I'm nice and straight and my entire torso seems

longer. Don't know if I gained any inches, but I'll have one of the

kids measure me soon. I'll write more another time, am starting to

feel a bit punk. If there is anything in particular you'd like to

know, just post.
