Guest guest
I am not fat. I am not too thin anymore. However, my belly hangs forward due to a large abdominal incisional 'hernia' (about 5'by7 " ) on the left side of my abdomen. I have no feeling at all there. I would wear a size 8 or 9 pants. However, my abdomen is huge. So, I need by purchase large, baggy pants to fit my tummy. I need to purchase xlarge shirts that are wide on the bottom to cover this up, but I am very small on top. I would be a medium shirt, but that won't cover my belly. Does anyone have this situation? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to buy clothing to fit this situation? I used to love to swim. NO swim suits, swim shorts, tankini, fit this situation. My belly is a size 14, the rest of me is an 8 with a small chest. Any experience with this? If anyone has had success in fixing a large abdominal incisional hernia, please let me know. The suggestion is mesh across the entire abdomen and then tying the muscles tight. Is this a difficult surgery? I need revision on my revision first, but I hope that some day I'll be able to fix my abdomen also. I am much more hopeful now.
