Guest guest
I was interested in the discussion around PCR testing and wide range of values obtained. Has anyone used Genzyme Genetics, and if so, how do they measure up? This is the lab my onc uses. Nick
Guest guest
Hi Nick, My BMBA test has been sent to Genzyme for almost 5 years now. I would like to believe that they are accurate. This lab was the one we used for my diagnosis. The one that indicated PCRU for a very long time and the one that indicated a slight detection on my last years BMBA. I am currently awaiting the results of my last BMBA which was done on the 14th of March and will post them to the group for discussion since I have recently had one lab indicate no detection, another indicate some detection and both of these test were done by PB. Personally, I feel my doc will trust Genzyme results over the others so hopefully that test will provide good results. ez Tampa Fl Dx 5-2000 Hyd/int/arc 6-2001 Gleevec 400 mgs 8-2001 PCRU Message: 6 Date: Tue, 22 Mar 2005 01:37:43 -0000 From: " ntw60cml " <ksnwoods@...> Subject: Fish/PCR testing I was interested in the discussion around PCR testing and wide range of values obtained. I wish the best for your results. I get another BMBA in April. I should have results to post at the last of the month.I hope I didn't make a mistake dropping back from 800 to 600 IM. We'll see.
