Guest guest
Could anyone help me figure out my pcr readings. I don't understand how to translate the numbers into decimals and zero's. My doctor has been doing quite a few of them because she says they continue to fluctuate up and down. She now has me on 600 mgs of Gleevec because of this and will retest after being on this dosage for a month. Thanks for the help! 7.6 x 10-4 6/11/04 pb 1.5 x 10-4 7/8/04 pb 5.1 x 10-3 12/3/04 pb 1.4 x 10-6 2/1/05 marrow 5.9 x 10-3 2/25/05 pb I actually still have one more result from 3/14 that I haven't gotten the results on yet. dx 5/03 #
Guest guest
Hello, 10-4 = 1/10000 = 0.0001. For convenience, you can just move the decimal point 4 places to the left. So 7.6 x 10-4 = 0.00076. Where are you getting your PCR done? You probably shouldn't compare the marrow to the peripheral blood readings. ho --------------------------------------------------- Could anyone help me figure out my pcr readings.
