Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm starting more computer classes next week -- 30 hours worth. That should help since regardless of other qualifications one has, the computer programs are a hurdle set into every job description. Since I'm mid-level career material in most instances, I have to know Microsoft Office Suite inside out. CEO's probably don't need to do that! Although many probably do anyway. lol. btw, the real disappointment ws that this was the first job that had been promised would become permanent fulltime. That's a lot worse than losing a temp position! Be well, L Re: [ ] New Job -- Bad Choice , Sorry that the temp job might not work. Guest guest
Hey , Congratulations anyway on your temp job. It's a start and get's you out there " networking " . If they are in bad shape financially, it will take people to help them dig out from under their troubles. I have every bit of confidence that you have what it takes to help them get through their troubles. Keep us posted, Cheers, Cheryl-Anne > I did offer to help them shore up their leaky old ship with ideas I've developed based on experience with other non-profits and in government. The hope is that they'll hire me as a contractor to help them dig themselves out of this hole they're in. > > Anyhow, what I hoped was going to be wonderfully good news for those of you who have been so supportive, is now a huge disappointment. Of course I'm still looking for other jobs. And today I bought a couple of books that I hope will be helpful -- one is Wayne Dyer's " Power of Intention. " I'm way past due for some good luck and my intention is to get a whole world of it! > > Hope your lives are faring better than mine. > > Love, > L > >
