Hi Everyone

I am new to posting to this group but have been reading the posts for a while. I

have joined when I became aware of the Masgutova Method when searching for

neuro-developmental help for our 4th child. I have used exercises for

neuro-developmental with our 2nd child under the Doman-Delacato method. I have

purchased the manual for Dynamic & Postural Reflexes and have been trying to

work through it until I can attend the course in May.

Our 4th child was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. I think I have learned more from

my child in these past 14mths than anything else.

The OT and PT are quite happy with his progress and are always amazed when we

come. He is crawling quite well and starting to be able to push a 'walking' toy

with some help (to make sure it doesn't take off), he is able to get to standing

on his own. His verbal skills are at the ma ma, ba ba, blowing lips, smacking

lips, occasionally we will hear other sounds just not on a consistent basis. I

am able to tell that some reflexes have not integrated all the way and just need

that extra push to integrate them.

***My question relates to the Reflex by Challenges chart. Where would Down

Syndrome relate to on this chart?

(has anyone with children with Down's had the one line in the palm separate? My

son has only one hand with the simian line, the other separated around 4-5 mths,

though there is a faint line connection)
