question for a client

Yes, I'm having a LOVELY dose of insomnia, but while I'm up I have a client whose struggles keep running through my head. This is a young boy (4 yo) who has speech issues and doesn't eat/drink without a LOT of persuasion.  Mom has even tried bribing with sweet drinks and it doesn't make a significant difference.  We are already working Babkin Palmomental with him (he has speech issues).  However, I was thinking that it is so innate to want to satisfy hunger and thirst, yet this child does not have that working for him.  Is there a particular reflex that is tied to that need for satiation?

Thanks so much for your thoughts!Sincerely,-- Donna BatemanNeurodevelopmental Specialistwww.parentswithpurpose.com
