Guest guest
I have an appointment to consult Dr. Bradford in San Francisco Jan. 21. I wanted to see Dr Hu in the same office, but she books so far out that I will have to make a second trip. (from Arizona). I also heard that the wait time for surgery, after seeing Dr. Bradford, is 4 to 6 months...at least as long for Hu.... well, that leaves plenty of time to try to get in better shape... Yesterday I finally, after years of resistence, tried yoga, and it was unbelievable! The instructor was great (very important, they say, to avoid injury)....for so long I woulkdn't try ity because I was embarrassed and afraid (of pain). It did hurt a bit, especially some of the hard moves toward the end, but I woke up the next morning STRAIGHT and WALKING, hips MOVING, instead of staggering around with one leg numb, leaning forward and holding on to the counter! I am a CONVERT> It also made me feel strong and confident...I'm going again tomorrow. It also made me REALLY wonder if I should allow my S.I. joints to be fused. I want to retain as much motion as I can. Please give feedback- -thanks so much. Jackie
