Guest guest
What program did you qualify for? I thought most insurance companies only pay for a visiting nurse once in awhile. I had to pay someone from an employment agency to come out and help after one operation. But the rest of the time I had operations, I wasn't working, so couldn't afford it. Kaiser just makes you leave the hospital, without any home care (they suggested a cane, which I would have had to pay for myself!) No rehab place, nothing. Same when I had my operation done at UCSF with Dr. Hu. They all assume you have family to help, but mine is elderly, and my son was too young to help. in Oakland At 07:34 AM 8/20/2006, you wrote: >, >I qualified for 25hr/wk (5hr/day) of in-home help.
