What program did you qualify for?

I thought most insurance companies only pay for a visiting nurse once

in awhile. I had to pay someone from an employment agency to come

out and help after one operation. But the rest of the time I had

operations, I wasn't working, so couldn't afford it. Kaiser just

makes you leave the hospital, without any home care (they suggested a

cane, which I would have had to pay for myself!)

No rehab place, nothing. Same when I had my operation done at UCSF

with Dr. Hu. They all assume you have family to help, but mine is

elderly, and my son was too young to help.
