Guest guest
HI, Can anyone explain why a child might be toe walker due to poor reflex integration? I want to be able to explain this to one of my clients. I just attended the Children with challenges workshop and my understanding is that the anti-gravity mechanism maybe affected and that children will enter into inappropriate reflex patterns. My client (he’s 5) is beginning to do this more often and I want to be able to the explain the “why” a bit better to them. And possible the “what” needs to happen to help the child. My goal is education not necessarily implementation. Thanks and take care, Palasti RDI Program Certified Consultant Developmental Guide and Parent Advocate lisapal@...
