HI,

Can anyone

explain why a child might be toe walker due to poor reflex integration? I want

to be able to explain this to one of my clients. I just attended the Children with

challenges workshop and my understanding is that the anti-gravity mechanism

maybe affected and that children will enter into inappropriate reflex patterns.

My client (he’s 5) is beginning to do this more often and I want to be

able to the explain the “why” a bit better to them. And possible

the “what” needs to happen to help the child. My goal is education

not necessarily implementation.

Thanks and take

care,
