Yes, you can try, but only make a little brew as an experiment.

Make sure you use several tablespoons of distilled vinegar over the top

of sweet tea and cultures, cover and allow to ferment for at least 3

weeks without disturbing.

If after that time you see a new scoby growing on the top, your culture

is still working and you can continue brewing with it.

It will need several batches to get a reasonable balance of yeasts

and bacteria. Patience will be needed!

Let us know how you get on reviving the poor old 'things'. ;-)
