Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I was interested in your comment on how we become accustomed to our pain, that we seem to be immune to it and describe it as stiffness or fatigue. That pretty much says it all. I never realized how much pain I experience every day until I'm free of it for a while (due to rest or medication). I think we just get used to it. I also think that as women we tolerate pain more. I can just imagine what my husband would be like if he had my pain and discomfort every day. He'd be laying on the couch moaning and groaning. Your comment made me think of the last time I had my hair colored and styled. My stylist knows all about my back and when I was walking back to the shampoo bowl I was limping and he asked if my back was bothering me. Of course, I just said no, I was just a little stiff. Making excuses for the pain, as usual. This sure is a great group. Where else could we discuss our pain and frustration. We understand each other. I am a little jealous of the gals on the East Coast and their get togethers. Don't know of if there are many feisty gals out here in the midwest. One last question. What is TLSO? I've seen it mentioned several times and just don't know what it is. Thanks Barbara
