Dear Notan, I have to second your nomination. Dave is one of the funniest people I have ever come across (particularly his spelling). He certainly cheers my day up no end with his descriptive posts. He is happy to "say it how it is". And with it being Sunday I think we can be excused for a little frivolity to lighten the mood and I would therefore like to nominate you Notan for a BGA for your "Contribution to the medical knowledge of the Group" Also, to in Michigan for the BGA for "Most supportive wife" I am sure we could get Dr. Rice to come along and be the presenter. We could call it something like the Broken Gullet Award. I would also like to nominate Dave for the first

Ann and Notan,

I can see it now... Stepping up to the podium to accept the

award... " Thank you, Dr. Rice. I'd also like to thank the BGA

Academy, the whole Achalasia Board and, of course, my family... " LOL

I agree with Notan's nomination of Dave for an award and I second

Ann's nomination of Notan for a BGA. His online research never fails

to further the education of the whole group! Ann, I'd like to

nominate you for a BGA for showing the group " optimism and compassion

to help us face adversity " . You guys are giving me lots more dream

material! Can't wait to go to sleep tonight LOL!

All I can say for now is aww, schucks, thanks for the nomination.

Look for my acceptance speech sometimes in the near future.

I whole heartedly agree with Notan and Ann's nomination.

Ann has bolstered my sprits and added to my self esteem throughout

my involvement with this board. Thanks Ann and congratulations on

your BGA.
