Crack went the back

Hey everyone. Been a long time since I've posted a question here. Short

history: T2-S1 fusion with two titanium rods and various screws, etc

done exactly 8 years ago this week (happy anniversary to me). Problem:

yesterday I bent over to pick something up from the floor and there was

the most God awful cracking sound and I about went down to my knees. I

mean it cracked! My grandson was in the room and asked what the heck

happened because he heard it. Seemed to come from the lower left

back/pelvic area. I have no additional pain, unless I bend or attempt

to twist to the left. Any ideas from anyone? I hate to undergo any more

x-ray exposure if I don't have to.

Donna,

I don't want to even pretend to give medical advice, but I think you

should probably get an x-ray just to be sure that nothing happened in

there. Congrats on your 8 year anniversary by the way!

Did you feel pain or anything strange when you heard the crack? Do

you have any pain now?

And just out of curiousity - how long after your surgery did you

continue to follow up at Northwestern?
