Guest guest
Hi Everyone- Thank you for accepting me to the children with challenges group. My name is Estrada and my son is JT, age 10 diagnosed with Autism at age 2. We have done many therapies but have found that biomedical intervention was the best approach for him as he was a very sick kid from 2-6yrs old. Lots of GI issues, sleep issues, seizures, and food allergies to name a few!!! In 2006 he was diagnosed with absence seizures and a tethered spinal cord (Surgery in 2006) seems to have corrected the problem and his seizures are controlled by Lamictal (seizure med). But he is still considered non-verbal and uses a ACC device to communicate. His speech therapist and I have noticed a marked improvement with him when she gives him massage therapy right before a speech session and he gets very clear expressive language. He is a very tactile boy loves tight hugs and pressure to his head. I heard about Dr. Masgutova through work but have not taken any of her courses yet. I would like to get feedback from the members on their experiences and if this would be an appropriate and beneficial therapy for my son. Thank you for your time. I look forward to talking to everyone and hearing about their wonderful experiences with the Masgutova Method. Thanks,
