Yeesh...I have so many trigger foods. I can't keep sweets or chips in

the house. If they're there, I'll eat them. So, when I want something

sweet, I usually get a single portion at a restaurant or store. If I

want chips, I get a small bag. Bread also sets me off...cheeze too.

Crackers. Things that are munchies. Nuts.

I usually on have problems around the time of my period. I always

crave something salty, like popcorn or chips. If I can get past those

cravings, I'm OK. If I give in, then I'm usually in trouble, cause they

never satisfy me and then I move on to something sweet.

That sounds like a mineral deficiency. That happens to alot of us around that time. Are you getting enough potassium?

If you could meet Blanks, what would you say to him? For those who have

already met him, tell us what you said or what you wish you would have said

to him.

Great question. I think honestly my tongue will be tied and I will be crying or

very nervous. I really just want to say Thank you and please dont ever stop. A

while back I heard that they were only going to make 27 Live tapes and that

freaked me out. I plan on doing this for the rest of my life and I'll need

plenty of inspirational tapes, instructors and materials to work with!!!!!!

Well, Susi and I met Taeboqueen and at the same time. We had

just arrived in Houston and went straight to the TB Center to sign up

for the grand opening class that was held the next day. First, we met

TQ, and she went to get . He came out, said hello, and shook our

hands. I felt immediately at ease with him and said hello back. He

thanked us for traveling great distances to attend his class and

promote tae bo. I said, " We thank YOU!!! " We had two other occasions

during which we schmoozed with him. He was humble and gracious each

and every time.

When I met him in November I just walked up to him at the end of one of

the classes and said " I just wanted to thank you...I came from

Nashville and I have all of your tapes and I love this workout " ....he

in turn thanked me for traveling so far and for coming to the tapings.

He is incredibly generous. I didn't want to take up his time, but I

knew I had to say thank you to the man who brought this work out to me.

He ended up sitting there for awhile talking to some of us...it was

awesome.

I do have another question...although, I'm not sure I'll have the guts

to ask it. I want to know if he will ever be certifying tae-bo

instructors all over the country. It is a dream of mine to become a

tae-bo instructor. I would love to get certified to teach tae-bo here

tapes, I think you would make a great instructor. In fact, I wouldn't be

surprised if they want you in the front row during one of the tapings.

do to become certified now (attend a training session in LA for a week,

I knew about tukis...I thought tzutzka was another variation...like

" butt " and " a** " in English. (By the way: why is it okay to say

" butt " and not " a** " ? or, for that matter: why is it acceptable to

say " poop " but not " sh*t " ? I never could figure that out.

I don't know that there are moves that I couldn't do before that I can

do...it's more that my endurance has improved so that I can do MORE of

everything for longer periods of time. My flexibility has also improved as

well...not dramatically, but I notice changes.

I am still trying to work on machine gun kicks and those front kicks where

you lead with the knee of one leg first and then kick with the other

leg...forgot what they are called.

I would have to say the round house kicks at the end of the studio basic

we're the hardest for me to do. I can honestly say that I can master them

now!!!

I am still trying to master the advanced studio basic. I only have the

original 4-pack, so I only have a few options. But that's o.k. it works for

me.

The moves I can do now...The front and back kicks (although I usually still

lose some balance when he does it double time on the tape.) I am still

trying to master the one move where you do double time and you are going

forward 3 right jabs and then a left jab (or visa versa) The main thing is

the foot work. Hubby is still trying to get down the move where you do two

knee raises and then a round house kick and then a cross (left or right) (He

just follows me cause I am doing that one right) But he has that other move

that I am trying to still get down pat.

Who is so happy that her hubby does Tae-Bo with her everyday!

A lot! I can now do the machine gun kicks, the double time swivel

kicks, the go around in a circle roundhouse kicks, all of which I

couldn't do a month or 2 ago.

What move or moves are you still trying to master?

This is the one that took the most time for me too. I think it had

something to do with stretching out the tendons down the back of the

ankles?

but then again seems like everyone can do a Russian split and I never could

even when a cheerleader and able to do regular splits on both sides.
