Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Corey. And what an interesting anecdote as to how you found your way here. Are you and really cousins? Guest guest
Well, of course, that goes without saying! (Not that I have seen either of your pictures as yet.) Say, have you guys signed up with the genetics people at s Hopkins? (I know, you would just love to send your blood to some researcher investigating scoliosis in families . . . .) Back to my vow of silence before I say something truly offensive. Have a great day. > > > > > > > > > This is your cousin Corey....also a Herrington Rod recipient. Guest guest
, Are they interested in more than scoliosis? I know of some twins that both have syrinxes in their spines that are interested in any genetic link for that. loriann > > Well, of course, that goes without saying! Guest guest
Lori, The study I was referring to is, I believe, limited to Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis. This is under the auspices of , MD, et al, at s Hopkins. I see from surfing a bit (e.g., into iScoliosis) that there may be other, privately funded research in Utah. I am still trying to determinine from the human-genome databases whether they have found anything definitive. Regarding your specific question, I hope you can get it answered via 's links or maybe by googling " syrinx " ? Best, > > > > Well, of course, that goes without saying!
