Guest guest
I am new to the group and rarely get to post anything, but i was wondering if anyone might have some suggestions on adaptive beds. My son in almost five and has cerebral palsy and is severely developmently delayed. He has outgrown his baby bed. We need to find him a new bed. He is unable to sleep in a regular bed and standard rails would not be tall enough because he can get in tall knees postion and pull himself up. He has no concept of bounderies and would fall out. We basically need a baby bed that will fit a twin size mattress. The only thing i am finding to fit this need is the sleep safe beds that start a $5000.00. We do not have this kind of money. Has anyone else encountered this dilema and what did you do. Any suggestions would be greatly apprecited. Thanks
